This position is for a "Purchasing and Operations Manager" (henceforth, "the POM").
One of LuckyGunner.com’s core competencies is managing and optimizing the ever-fast moving ammunition supply chain largely through creating and carrying out an effective purchasing strategy. This position is not for someone who wants a sedentary, safe, corporate petting-zoo lifestyle. Rather, this position is for a motivated, ambitious individual who can lead the charge with an ownership mentality seeking out and creating new purchasing opportunities, effectively optimizing existing supply-chain relationships, and optimizing fast moving inventory. The POM will be joining our small, motivated team and will be working alongside our lead Purchasing Manager in the Knoxville office. This position will be charged with varioius tasks throughout our purchasing, supply chain, and operations departments. Additionally, this position will be tasked with managing other areas of the supply chain to include our logistics operations, our warehouse operations, and cash flow management.

All applicants will be required to take a series of basic skills assessment tests. If you aren't willing to complete this, don't even bother applying. The process for finalists will include a more in depth skill test, a phone call, and a trip to our office to meet the team.
This position will require work in our physical office in Knoxville, TN alongside our core team. It's not a problem if you don't currently live in Knoxville, but you need to be willing and able to move to take this position full-time.
As far as compensation goes, we hate to use the cliche "it depends on experience" - ugh - but in this case it really will vary wildly by productivity (not necessarily "seniority" or experience). We estimate the base salary will work out to between $60,000 to $90,000 per year - with the possibility of performance bonuses if we find someone who fits our culture and is great at getting stuff done - a real "GSD'er". Look, we are flexible - if you are a stud(ette) and are good at this position and passionate, we can work out the compensation.
We don't offer or believe in traditional "benefits." We want to pay you a fair, high market rate for the value you bring to the company and give you an awesome work environment - and then let you take care of yourself (or not).
