We’re on the hunt for a marketing and communications minded professional to assist and manage digital marketing initiatives as part of our world-class marketing team.  If you think you have what it takes to add value to the team, then read on….  The “DMM” will be joining our small, motivated team and will be working alongside our lead Chief Marketing Officer in the Knoxville office.

Here’s what we’re looking for in a successful applicant:

  • Ability to take projects from infancy through completion effectively;
  • Are passionate and driven – we don’t like working with zombies;
  • Enjoy identifying and solving problems by yourself – we don’t have time to hold your hand;
  • Self-starting attitude focused on continuous improvement;
  • Outstanding attention to detail with absolute perfection as the goal;
  • Working knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and basic email knowledge;
  • Experience and familiarity with digital marketing terminology such as click through rate, impressions, etc.;
  • Online content generation experience;
  • Have an ownership mentality – you will be managing large campaigns backed by significant investment. You must be able to think with an owner’s perspective to be effective.

The following skills are helpful but not mandatory:

  • Knowledge and familiarity of firearms and ammo;
  • General coding (HTML, CSS, etc.) abilities and experience;
  • Graphic design and website development experience;
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, digital photography, non-linear video editing or videography a plus;
  • Personally made investments in the stock market (especially if individual equities and not just mutual funds);

In short, the DMM is expected to execute as a leader in our marketing team, setting the example and playing a key role in our conquests.


Compensation will be based on the candidate’s credentials and abilities. In general, we expect compensation will fall between $50,000 and $75,000 annually depending upon the background and qualifications of the applicant.

We don’t offer traditional benefits because we believe it can lead to a paternalistic culture that discourages individual decision-making.  Strange, right?  Look, we understand this approach is unique, and here’s how we make up for it.  Your compensation package will include a salary bump to account for the lack of benefits.  In other words, whereas most companies offer 9 units of compensation and 1 unit of benefits, we simply offer 10 units of compensation.  Then you can choose how best to take care of yourself (or not).

Candidates that establish a track record of success and proper levels of motivation will quickly enjoy greater responsibility working on day-to-day and high level marketing initiatives.
